Tailgating Road trips
Every year we pick a Viking road game from the upcoming NFL season and chose a destination to visit. In this section of the Home page, we share the reviews of our trips from the past!
Green Bay WI 2007

Green Bay, WI, 2005
Everything about this trip was fantastic! From the $200 bar tab the night before, to early morning tailgating at Lambeau, to leaping for joy as Moe Williams rumbled down our sidelines, to seeing Favre writhe in pain after a Darrion Scott sack, to seeing Moss Moon the cheese heads. This was a great road trip, a playoff win, and great time. See pictures and Stories on the 2005 Roadtrip report.
Tempe, AZ, 2003
The worst day in Vikings history? The most embarrassing turn of event occurreded when the Vikes once-again, choked on the field, but the best part of this trip was the tailgating before the game, knowing that we would be going home to tailgate again the following week in the playoffs. When Nate Poole caught a TD pass for the Cards on 4 and 26 with no time left in the game, the Viking season was over, the Packers were in first place, and the tailgating for the year was done.
New Orleans, LA, 2001
By land and by air, the Berserkers hit the Big Easy with a passion second to none. We showed our party skills on Bourbon Street, and hit the Superdome with much purple pride Game dayday. Despite losing 28-15, the gang who made the trip had a blast in the Crescent City!
Chicago, IL, 2000
Berserkers share all they have learned with the Windy City Bears fans! The Berserkers took their tailgate antics to Chicago and showed the windy city that field goal kicking and good music is the key to a great tailgate between NFL rivals.
Kansas City, MO, 1999
Everything was up-to-date in KC as the Berserkers bonded with the NFL Tailgating Champions! The Vikes lost, but the Berserkers won in this tale of road trip to KC last December!
