Randy Birk (Moss) made great CC like catches all day.

I was invited to the Vikings practice this afternoon. It was really cool to see the players working at their craft on the practice field. I have new perspective on the NFL and the Vikings. Particularly, Randy Moss who wore a Matt Birk jersey and was making great catches all day, and keeping EVERYONE focused.

Moss is a hard worker and really motivates the squad. He IS the franchise no doubt. He even got into a DE position and was joking around with Mckinney on how he would slap him up on a pass rush- it was a light humor moment that even got big Dave Dixon laughing.

Remember the good ol days when the Vikes were NFL Champs? This banner hangs at the practice facility inside Winter Park.

The Defense looked sharp with Spencer Johnson, Kenechi and K-Dawg harrassing Daunte all day. Hovan was on island, the only guy who wore gray sweats (everyone else had black pants or purple shorts) and no one went near him. He was like a poisoned rookie kicker and just seemed to be going through the motions.

I was there for 3 hours, and saw the entire practice. Afterward, Tice sent over Sean Berton to talk to the group of 20 people who were all invited by the Vikings Marketing Department from various season ticket suite owners. I got him to sign an autograph for Nolan "To Nolan, Best Wishes, Sean Berton #44"
