The Purple hair made it's appearance for the 2nd year in a row.

The Vikings started out 1999 with a revenge victory over the Atlanta Falcons, but soon sputtered going 2-4. Randall Cunningham was yanked as the starting QB and Jeff George led the team to 8-2 record the rest of the way. The Vikes destroyed the Cowboys in round one of the playoffs before losing to the eventual World Champion lambs in the playoffs.

As we all know, the '99-'00 season was full of exciting disappointment for the loyal Vikings fans. We didn't really get our season started before it suddenly ended with a playoff thrashing at the hands of the future World Champion Lambs.

After starting out 2-4, the Vikings benched Randall Cunningham and the team was Jeff George's for the rest of the year. The one-year wonder led the Vikings to a 9-3 record the rest of the way.

With such a crappy start, the rest of the season was surreal, but the Section 205 Berserkers partied there way to an 8-4 overall record (8-3 at home and 0-1 on the road) including all preseason, playoffs and a roadtrip to Kansas City. The most memorable highligts of '99 for the 205 Berserkers:
